Dorothy: 'Where to begin?'
Witch: 'Always best to start at the beginning.'
Via Yellow brick road, met de rode schoentje aan.

[Ontmoeting vogelverschrikker]
'I don't have a brain. Only straw.'
'How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?'
'I don't know. But some people without brains do an
awful lots of talking.'

[Dorothy over wat ze missen]

Dorothy          - Home
'Best friends anybody ever had. And it's funny but it
feels as if I've known you all the time.'

Forest: dark and creepy
Vervolgens in slaap geholpen op een bloemenveld
aangelegd door de heks.

Moeten stok (broom) van heks inleveren bij de Wizard
in ruil voor z'n diensten.

Witch:
I want her alive and unharmed.
'Oh, fool that I am. I should have remembered. But that's
not what is worrying me. It's how to do it. These things
must be done delicately.'
De heks wordt per toeval met water opgelost (ze smelt).

Wizard:
Blijkt man afkomstig uit Dorothy haar wereld te zijn, die
met een luchtballon als held is ontvangen. Zit achter een
gordijn en laat z'n gezicht met effecten vergroten en
heeft een geluidsinstallatie:
Dorothy: 'You're a very bad man.'
Wizard: 'Oh no, my dear. I'm a very good am. I'm just a
very bad wizard.'
Eén van Dorothy haar vrienden: 'How can I ever thank
you enough?'
Wizard: 'Well you can't.'
'Hearts can never be practical, until they are unbreakable.
A heart is not judged by how much you love, but by how
much you are loved by others.'

Ze heeft van dit avontuur geleerd dat ze niet van huis
moet weglopen.
'Toto too?' [of het hondje ook mee terug mag naar Kansas]
